ABOUT ME
Hello!I’m Felicia (she/her) and a student currently majoring in Visual Arts in Emily Carr University of Art + Design. My main works and passions surround Printmaking, Ceramics, and Digital Illustration.Art has always been a constant in my life and have always dreamed of being an artist myself. I’m grateful to have been given the chance to deepen my love for art in Emily Carr University, as that was also when I started my journey on Printmaking and Ceramics.I am well versed in several printmaking techniques, I have tried etching, relief, litho, monotype, and woodblock, (soon will be learning silkscreen too!) though my favorite would have to be etching and relief printing. I have mainly worked with hand-building for my ceramics but would love to learn how to throw on the wheel! I’ve always been familiar with drawing and illustration, but have only recently taken it more seriously with digital illustration. Procreate is my main software to create these illustrations.I love to incorporate stories into my works, creating characters that I can put these stories into. Exploring the environment around them, their personalities and how they interact with each other, I am a sucker for world-building!Outside of my art practice, I also enjoy doing motion graphic design and video editing, mainly using Adobe After Effects. I also like making character sheets for my characters with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator!I’d like to think I’m an artist who has her hands everywhere. I love exploring new techniques and re-exploring ones that I’m already familiar with, I think that’s what makes the journey and the act of art making so enjoyable for me.Thanks for stopping by :)
